Eun-ju, "Tale of Two Sisters": Do know what's really scary? You want to forget something. Totally wipe it off your mind. But you never can. It can't go away, you see. And... and it follows you around like a ghost.

Sounds interesting.

Even Stir of Echoes does that to me. Most people who've seen it know exactly what part I mean.

Is that movie with the two contortionist sisters? I just saw some Japanese Horror at SIFF, but I can't remember what they were.

No, this is a South Korean horror film about non-contortionist sisters.

I love that film.

I saw it at SIFF last year, and really liked it. The twist at the end had me thinking about it for weeks -- one of those moments where you realize that everything means something different than what you'd thought at the time...

We are all, to some degree or another, haunted by our past.

[identity profile] vulture23.livejournal.com 2005-06-08 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
Though there *are* some contortionist moments in it....

Aha! Thanks!

I saw that film!
I'm still trying to fully understand it:)

Don't remind me. A couple of them kept me from sleeping soundly for a few nights after I saw it.

I loved the way that the last little bit completely redefined everything that had happened before... Suddenly, the confusing things make sense and the sensible things become confusing!
