first is a bread loaf. A little on the sweet and heavy side, but VERY tasty.

last is a dyed easter egg, Ukranian style design. (these take for EVER to make.. you use melted wax to block out the design as you dye.

My mother's side is Slovak by nationality and Byzantine by rite (religion) = fun and unusual easter traditions. :)

I make a really yummy Orthodox Greek Easter bread, but those look faboo!
