A) What are your rates for costuming? My regular costumer is busy with plans to go someplace foreign and stuff ;)

B) We need to take your picture sometime, don't we?

Those dresses are so nice. It must have taken a lot of time and effort. Also, the elaborateness on the chokers and the hats, very talented.

::grins:: You guys were such fabulous mirror images of each other! You have to post those on the Glitterati journal...they definitely need to be archived there!!

Here are the original designs. About 5 years and many many pounds ago. ;)

(the hats were papier mache before, they are handsewn plush hats this time)

Those are some kick ass papier mache hats though! Damn.

That's it, if I have a crafty costuming project, I'm coming to you to learn how to make the accessories!

It was for the best that we redid them though. The papier mache ones were hard, heavy, uncomfortable, and took about 40 hours of sanding painting and decoupage to finish (which is why I still have mine...lol). The plush ones took less time and were actually comfy. :D We used the parasols instead of sceptres this time because it was sunny. ;D

I'm insane when it comes to costumes...lol. I go alllll out and spend an insane amount of time and energy making stuff for them. I'm adding to the dark fae costume I did the weekend before last for Ren Faire and making it more kick ass for Halloween, and then more kick ass for NorWesCon (with the other costumes I have)...lol.

The sad thing is that most of my really cool costumes don't fit me anymore and can't be altered down to fit me because I'm too small. :( *sigh*

I may fit in to them if you're ever willing to sell any of them.

Yay! I need to post mine. I'm so bad at posting photos, because I'm mostly working away from the computer. ;P I did crop them and such, I just need to upload them now...lol

I wondered if the hats were too big when I was making them, but we look great in the photos! :D *high five*
