HOW DO YOU BECOME MISS HORRORFEST?

1) Between now and October 8th, come to this page to submit a 1-minute video to YouTube. This should be a video of you, explaining or demonstrating why you are the perfect Miss Horrorfest. Be as crazy or outrageous as you like. Costumes and props are a great idea! Make sure that somewhere in the video is a sign that says "HorrorFest, November 17-19 2006".

2) Encourage your friends to visit YouTube to view your video and rank it. Semifinal winners will be chosen from amongst the most highly ranked videos.

3) In addition to YouTube postings, live auditions will be held in several cities. More details on that soon.

4) SemiFinals: 3 finalists must demonstrate their ability to promote Horrorfest in: A live segment during the "Chainsaw Awards" on Fuse TV; An interview with Dee Snyder on his Sirius Fangoria Radio Show an interview on TRL on MTV; and other surprise media appearances.

5) Finally, the internet audience on YouTube will have one last chance to vote on who will eventually win Miss Horrorfest 2006. The winner will be crowned on Halloween, October 31st in New York City at the Halloween Parade outside Fuse TV headquarters across from Madison Square Garden. The results will be broadcast nationwide.

I definitely want to help. You need to win this.

I have a little truck that seats three people and a covered backend so we can transport stuff to a site for shooting.

I have a DV cam and wide-angle lens.

And tripods and steadycam arm and extra tapes and video editing and simple SFX software, too.

You could do a montage with some live stuff and interject your asylum-style photos... like a music video. :)
